Situated as it is on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, Bookshelf
at the Boatworks specializes in a beautiful collection of
books about wooden boats, most of which are large format coffee
table books.
In addition, the Tahoe City store stocks books about local history
and boating at Lake Tahoe, as well as titles on the Reno air
races.

her career as a graphic artist to realize a lifelong dream: to work at a
small independent bookstore. She loves sharing her passion for reading
